Auctions

Put rare items up for bidding with a starting price and an optional buyout.

Open the Auctions tab on the Item market. Choose spare items, a starting bid, an optional buyout and how long it runs (1 to 24 hours). The items leave your inventory while it runs.

Bidding holds your cash. If someone outbids you, your cash comes straight back. A bid in the last two minutes adds two minutes to the clock, so sniping does not work.

When time runs out the highest bidder gets the items and the seller is paid the winning bid minus a 5% fee. With no bids the items come back. You can cancel only before the first bid.
